Midnight Mysteries: Ghostwriting
Description official description
An evil presence is stalking through the pages of classic works to some unknown, nefarious end. The connection between the authors of these works is that they are 'ghostwriters', or authors whose characters can come alive from the stories they write. The player character, a nameable person, is all that stands between this dark presence and the writers Charles Dickens and Washington Irving.
In Midnight Mysteries: Ghostwriting, the player must acquire objects about the world and from hidden object sequences, and apply the items they find to advance the plot. They may obtain faraway, out-of-reach objects with the help of their pet raven. The map allows the player to see where something can be done with the items on-hand, in the event they become stuck. Three standard difficulty levels are available, as well as a fourth, custom level for players to tailor their experience.
