Mega Pony

Mega Pony is a side-scrolling platform fangame which is a mash-up of Mega Man and the TV cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The villain Discord has brainwashed the cartoon's six protagonists, and the only one who can save the land of Equestria is Mega Pony, the robotic equine hero.

The gameplay is very similar to Mega Man games, and uses numerous graphics and enemies known from that series. There are six levels, which can be tackled in any order, followed by the final boss levels. On each of the six levels Mega Pony must use his jumping and shooting skills to get past enemies and obstacles before facing the level's boss. On the way, energy capsules which refill health, weapon capsules which refill special weapons, and extra lives can be found or acquired from defeated enemies. These and other useful items can also be purchased in a store for gems.

Defeating each of the six brainwashed Mares allows Mega Pony to acquire her power. The acquired weapon can from then on be used at any time, and particular weapons are more effective against certain bosses.
