Pokémate

Pokémate is a Pokémon-themed mobile phone game. Players are given a Pokémon and ten Poké Balls when they start the game. The Poké Balls are used to catch more Pokémon, just like the main series. However, if the player doesn't pay for the monthly subscription, they are only allowed to catch three Pokémon. Caught Pokémon are sent to the storage area, where the player can view their Pokédex entries and change their avatar, which can be set to any Pokémon they have caught. Pokémon are taken care of, like a virtual pet, rather than used in battles.

The game also has a communication feature where players can talk to up to 16 other players via voice mail and e-mail.
