Alter Ego: DreamWalker
Description
Alter Ego: DreamWalker is the sequel to the 2011 action puzzle platform title Alter Ego. In this game, you have a phantom 'alter ego' that mirrors all your moves (either horizontally or vertically) from across the screen. You can switch between the hero and his alter ego a limited number of times in each level, in order to avoid enemies and reach otherwise inaccessible positions. The ZX-Spectrum version uses multicolor, a software technique to combine more colours than normally possible without colour clash.

Trivia
Multicolor (ZX-Spectrum)
Although multicolor is an old ZX-Spectrum programming technique invented by Jonathan "Joffa" Smith in 1985, it was considered too difficult for actual gameplay, so it was only used for special effects in static screens (menu, intro, etc). The first ZX-Spectrum games using in-game multicolor only appeared in 2011. Even so, Alter Ego: DreamWalker was the first ZX-Spectrum game to use in-game multicolor full-screen.
