Zen Pinball: X-Men

X-Men is a DLC pinball table for Zen Pinball 2 (Mac) and on mobile for Zen Pinball ((T)HD) and Marvel Pinball, available as an in-app purchase.

It is based on the Marvel X-Men characters. In this table the X-Men face Magneto who has many powers he uses to introduce difficulties on the playfield.

The table has a set of regular flippers at the bottom, an additional one in the left middle and a fourth one in the top right. Magneto is an animated character on the back of the table and Xavier sits in the bottom left. By shooting the Astral Charger on the left his mental powers are awakened to activate a psyscan and locate one of the X-Men for an assignment. Remaining heroes can also be collected by lighting the UNITE letters through a ramp in the top left. There are seven characters that can be activated through a part of the field once they have been collected, each with their own mission. The characters are Colossus, Cyclops, Iceman, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Storm and Wolverine.

In Sense the Traitor Wolverine needs to unmask Mystique who has infiltrated the mansion. This is done by shooting the Wolverine orbit. There are four main wizard modes: in the Brooklyn Bridge Attack mission you need to help Iceman form an ice bridge to re-establish traffic in the city. Magneto can be captured in another mission and he will block lanes with metal junk pieces that can be shot. In Phoenix in Peril Cyclops needs to release Jean's ball before Magneto uses it to harness the power of the Dark Phoenix. The fourth wizard mode is Magnetic Frenzy where Magneto needs to be distracted to have him lose control of the junk he has circling Xavier. When all four wizard modes have been activated at least ones, the four X-MEN letters will be lighted and then there is an opportunity to defeat Magneto entirely, with an End of Ball bonus and an extra ball.
