Dungeons & Dragons: Arena of War

Description

D&D: Arena of War is a free-to-play role-playing game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. The player chooses one character from different pre-generated archetypes and leads him as part of a three-person party into arena-like battles. If he succeeds, he gains items or powers to enhance his character, as well as experience points. One of the main aspects is collecting and improving your powers similar to a collectible card game. They are split into several groups that are characterized by possibility of their occurrence as loot. Powers can be upgraded by merging them and can be shared between all of the player's characters. Battles are linked together loosely by a narrow storyline. Going into battle requires action points, that are limited. They regenerate over time, alternatively the player can invest real money to skip this annoyance. The same is true for acquiring new powers, support potions or new companions.
