Cookie Clicker
Description official description
Cookie Clicker is an endless game where the entire point is to gather cookies, then use them to buy items and upgrades which do nothing but gather cookies even faster.
Initially, the player can gather cookies by clicking on the giant cookie visible on the screen. The cookies can be spent on things like automatic cursors (that do the clicking for you), grandmas (that bake cookies), farms (where cookies are grown), time machines (which bring cookies back from the past) and others; these purchased items can in turn be upgraded to boost their cookie production rate. The price of the items and upgrades keeps rising as you purchase more of them. The game runs on its own even when not attended to, so generally the gameplay consists of letting the game run in the background and occasionally checking back to buy some more upgrades.
Eventually the player will unlock the grandma research facility, which through a series of upgrades will initiate the Grandmapocalypse; a sugary-sweet event of Lovecraftian proportions. During the Grandmapocalypse Golden Cookies will have new events, including negative events that decrease the number of cookies being clicked. Additionally Wrinklers, doughy flesh worms that consume cookies, will appear and eat gathered cookies. Clicking a Wrinkler will pop it, gaining back the consumed cookies plus a 5% bonus. Events run during major western holidays that add unique themed upgrades.
By resetting the game the player will receive a bonus to their cookies-per-second based on the number of cookies forfeited, as well as the ability to acquire unique reset-only upgrades, like the ability to compel holidays to run any time of the year, or to receive cookies even when the game is closed. Resetting also unlocks the cookie dragon Krumblor, who provides cookie buffs after being fed an immense number of cookies and buildings. Added in 2017 are sugar lumps, a new currency that forms over 24 real-world hours and can be spent to permanently boost the CPS of specific building types. Upgrading cookie temples and cookie wizard towers with these unlock the Pantheon and Grimoire, respectively. The Pantheon allows the player to choose 3 of 11 cookie deities to worship that all have tradeoffs to their cookie buffs. With the Grimoire the player can cast spells to summon or empower buffs, but all spells have a chance to backfire.
Achievements are awarded for reaching cookie and building milestones, as well as some miscellaneous feats. These achievements reward "milk", which, when combined with kitten upgrades, rewards more cookies per second.

The Good
Cookie Clicker is great at what it sets out to be: a clicker game. Not only are the hundreds of upgrades and achievements satisfying to obtain, but they also add a bit of humor to an already quite humorous game.
The Bad
There isn't much bad with the game. One minor gripe I have with the game is that the sheer amount of achievements is a bit much, but as it stands, it's still immensely satisfying to get them all.
The Bottom Line
All in all, Cookie Clicker is a great clicker game that I recommend trying out.
