Description
This is a children's programming book that guides readers through the general steps involved in designing a text adventure game for a microcomputer running BASIC. The included program listing is entitled Haunted House, an example treasure hunt adventure game. It places the player in a haunted house. It's up to the player to find a way out, solve puzzles and collect loot along the way. Players can move around in the direction of the compass and interact with objects using simple sentences.
