Rhino Rumble

The already huge library of platformers on the Game Boy Color will soon get a colorful new addition in Rhino Rumble.

When the game begins, the little purple rhino has eaten too many hot peppers at a party. Now he is urgently trying to find a drink of water to cool his burning palate.

Along the way, you will use your fiery-hot breath to eliminate jungle enemies. Judging from the screen shots that Telegames sent us, you can also expect lots of running and jumping.

Each of the seven colorful worlds has its own distinct look, from the lush, green jungle to a deep, dark mine. You can collect refreshing fruits in the 19 levels using special forms of transportation such as boats, planes and trampolines.

Some old-school elements to this all-new story may seem familiar to gamers. Scoring points and finding bonuses will earn you secret areas, and each time our purple hero gets hit he is sent back to the start of the level.

Rhino Rumble promises a wacky adventure with a classic feel. You can quench the rhino's thermal thirst in late March. This game has been rated "E" (Everyone) by the independent Entertainment Software Rating Board.
