Description
Fugitive is an isometric adventure game about a prison escape. The player controls a prisoner who will be moved to a maximum security prison and he has seven days to escape before he is transferred. The game takes place over several days and there are a number of activities that are required to participate in so as not to raise suspicion. Each day is divided into morning, dinner time, evening, bedtime, night, when the prisoner must perform indicated activity, for example, he must arrive on time to the cafeteria or to bed. The candle shows you how much time is left to arrive to the next moment of the day. The selected areas of the prison are guarded by a camera, the other can be accessed only by police. Meanwhile it is possible to talk to other characters, gather stuff and use it in the environment and eventually find a way out of the prison before the sixth night is over. The game features around 40 different objects that may be used to solve the logic puzzles.
The bottom horizontal third of the screen is used for the interface. It contains the icons to interact, the inventory, the time of day and a zoomed-in view of the current location. When talking to a character, the figure also appears in the interface and the conversation text is shown in a horizontal bar above. At the right the player has the sequence of the TV security cameras of the prison. He can't do anything suspicious when a camera is filming.
