Eryi's Action
Description
Once there lived a fairy named Eryi who just loved to eat melons. One day she planned to chow down on a perfectly good one, but she couldn't find it. The only clue left at the scene was a note from a winged troll named Farta who was in love with Eryi. Yet she wanted the melon all to herself, just so she could annoy Eryi. Now Eryi must fight to get her melon back.
Eryi's Action pits a single player playing as Eryi against a series of devious traps and enemies. It is played as a 2D side-scrolling platformer with twelve stages and a number of boss battles against Croco, Stil and Artie. Visuals and gameplay are similar to the Super Mario Bros. games including a flagpole at the end of each level. Mushrooms are used as trampolines and enemies are defeated by jumping on top of them. There are also stages where she can swim. Many environments have traps designed by Farta, where blocks disappear quickly before Eryi can reach them or where the most obvious course of action does not work. That is why the authors describe the game as a trapformer. Eryi has unlimited lives, except in the Extra Game where she has 30 lives to conquer Farta and recover her melon.
