Mass Effect: Infiltrator

Mass Effect Infiltrator is a third-person shooter for mobile devices that takes place during the events of Mass Effect 3. The player takes control of Randall Ezno, a veteran Cerberus agent who after completing a mission returns to Barn, a Cerberus research space station where things begin to go wrong. When on his way to his adviser Inali Renata, the facility is attacked by Turian soldiers. After fighting his way through the Turian forces he finds Inali being treated to horrific experiments by Barn's director. Randall vows revenge and with the support of the Volus he goes after the director.

The game is a cover based shooter that consists of a series of missions divided into segments where the player has to move his way through the level, from cover to cover, and kill any enemy that stands in his way. By making swipes across the screen, Randall moves between covers and to shoot the player simply taps on an enemy. Randall then begin firing and the player has to move the crosshair over the enemy. There are four different types of weapons, assault, shotgun, sniper and beam each with different capabilities. Each weapon is upgradable up to five levels. When close to an enemy a melee attack is used instead. In addition to the regular weapons, there are also biotic attacks to use. For example, the pull biotic sends an enemy up in the air making it an easy target for the player while the leash biotic allows the player to throw enemies around. The player also has access to different abilities such as sprinting, sliding and cloaking. Weapons, biotics and abilities as well as armor and helmets are all bought from a store with credits. Credits are earned by completing missions but can also be bought through in-app purchases.

The game offers some connectivity with Mass Effect 3. The player can collect intel from fallen enemies that can then be uploaded to Galaxy at War where it can be used to get a higher Galactic Readiness Rating in the console game. Intel can also be traded for credits in the mobile game.
