Dance Dance Revolution
- Dance Dance Revolution (1998 on Arcade, 1999 on PlayStation, 2002 on Windows)
- Dance Dance Revolution (2011 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360)
Description
Dance Dance Revolution is a Wii exclusive addition to the DDR series. It features the same dance moves as its predecessors, using an arrowed dance mat, but introduces the new Choreography mode. Using the Wii remote and Nunchuck like glow sticks, the player can now add arm motions (point up, down, forward or on the side, or describe half-circle motions) to their dance moves following the on-screen choreographed dance routine.
The game has a challenge feature that will prompt the player to play a specific song, play at a minimum difficulty level, and reach a minimum number of points that will have him earn bonus points to unlock new songs and additional items for custom avatars.
The track list includes over 40 songs, some by popular artists like:
- Animal - Ke$ha
- Bad Romance - Lady Gaga
- Celebration - Kool & the Gang
- Hey, Soul Sister - Train
- The Way U Move - Bill Hamel & Derek James feat. Breanna Skiles
It is compatible with the Wii balance board.
