Age of Empires II HD Edition is an enhanced version of Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings and its expansion, The Conquerors. It includes high resolution and multi-monitor support, better compatibility with newer operating systems, Steam Workshop support for user-made maps and Steamworks multiplayer. With post-release patches, the game also received an AI overhaul and significant balance changes.
