The title screen
Lots of video options
I was NOT expecting bulldozer controls! The game is entirely keyboard controlled but I did find a way to remap some controls to my joystick, the game did NOT detect a joystick and remap automatically.
A delay while a new sequence loads is common but not a problem as loading screens like this refresh lessons learned. There is a status bar creeping along just above the text coming in from the left
There is a tutorial that covers basic flight
The screen layout can be customised
There are time trial missions
There are challenges most, but not all, of which change each time they are played
There are lots of 'Free Flight' options in both Seattle and South East Asia.
Free flight in a coastguard helicopter. The cockpit view is the default view but ENTER on the numeric keypad toggles a 3rd person view with the other numeric keys altering the point of view and '+' zooming in
The start of career mode. We play as Tom Larkin, recently returned home to help his brothers with their dad's business
Career mode starts with a gentle flight with our brother Joseph in which he lets Tom take the controls for some simple manoeuvres.
Just $1900! The company is in real trouble! Here Tom is in the office and has just accessed the computer
The first mission. To fly a client home and sell a helicopter
The mission map. Somewhere out there is a sinking cargo vessel that went down while Tom was having a quick flight with Joseph, I am sure that's going to feature sometime soon
There is an editing function which I think lets me create / edit my own scenarios. It's not my thing so I did not spend long trying to understand it
There is a multiplayer option but I did not find anyone else playing
Are we missing some important screenshots?
