Monsters’ Den: The Book of Dread

Monsters’ Den: The Book of Dread is an expanded version of Monsters’ Den graphical dungeon crawler, a combat-oriented RPG set in a typical fantasy world, with turn-based room by room exploration and combat played out on a board.

Apart from interface improvements, added items, skills and enemies, the major new features include a shop (buying/selling items), item enhancing (adding magical stats using orbs) and two character classes (conjuror and barbarian). In addition to original one, a new campaign has been added, as well as a survival mode, where you start with level 10 characters and plenty of gold to equip your four-(wo)man team, but you'll face endless waves of enemies (no resting nor potions between fights) - in this mode (and optionally also during campaigns - as in previous game) the defeat of entire party equals permadeath.
