Rock Tour

In Rock Tour the player is the manager of a rock band. The aim is to take a small garage band and turn them into big stars. The game features the music and appearances of five real but unknown bands. At the start two bands are available and the other three are unlocked by attracting fans to the available bands. The player is presented with a map that shows different venues that want to book the band. For each concert the player can choose a song list, a percentage of ticket sales and how to promote the concert (for example posters, demos, radio ads etc.). After the show the player gets a review showing the number of fans attracted and the amount of money earned. The review also shows how well received the songs and the performance were. As the band's fan base grows the band will be able to go to bigger venues.

The player also gets to manage the band members. Each of them has different skills, ego and personality. Some are better at their instruments while others are better song writers. The player can nag them and order them to practice instrument skills and existing songs, write new songs or just rest. Resting is needed at times or their stress levels will go up. As the band's popularity grows the band might be invited to a recording studio. If they have written enough songs they will be able to put out an album.
