The Hatchings

In a common formula for Orisinal, in this game a player competes against a declining time limit trying to rack up combos for a high score. The particulars are hashed out in a typically lush presentation: here the player directly controls the 4-way movements of a mother hen, periodically leaving an egg in her wake. The eggs will wander around, generally following her, and they reward players with points when hatched singly -- but with exponentially more points when hatched in groups. Gameplay thus consists of avoiding an increasing number of mother-hen-homing eggs until such point as they can no longer be avoided, and then touching as many of them as possible in a brief period to trigger the highest combination scoring possible. From time to time, apples appear in the chicken's free range area, providing bonuses such as adding time to the clock or slowing down the movement of the eggs.
