Ancient Taxi
Description
Ancient Taxi is a variant of Space Taxi that is most similar to Ugh! due to its use of a prehistoric theme. The player controls a helicopter taxi that he uses to navigate from platform to platform. On the platforms cavemen appear with a number above them indicating to what other platform they want to travel. The player has to pick them up and carry them safely to the right destination. At the same time the player has to be on the watch out for various threats. At times a rocket kamikaze flies across the screen that the player has to avoid or the taxi will be destroyed. The kamikaze can be taken down by picking up and dropping a stone on top of it. There are also dinosaurs that the player has to handle in the similar way although dinosaurs are only knocked out for a brief time before they wake up again. Stones can also be dropped on trees and by doing so the player is able to pick up fallen fruit. Levels also have water that the player can't stay down in for to long.
The game has three game modes that vary in their difficulty: kid, arcade and classic. The kid mode is easiest while arcade and classic add limitations that makes things harder. In the arcade mode the passengers will be knocked down into the water if the player touches them. If they are not quickly rescued they will drown. The classic mode also adds the possibility to crash the taxi when going too fast.
