OpenClonk
Description
OpenClonk is an open source 2D multiplayer action game about mining, settling and fast-paced melees. It is the successor of the shareware game series Clonk from Redwolf design and based on the same engine. The engine though has been enhanced significantly since it has been put under an open source license and the game content has been built from scratch. The current and first milestone of the game focuses on multiplayer action with melees, parcours, capture the flag and similar levels.
As in earlier Clonk titles, the player controls a nimble and witty little clonk that can dig himself through the landscape, mine ore and build tools, bows, swords, muskets, grapple hooks and other items, vehicles like cannons, catapults, airships and lorries and buildings out of stuff he found and mined in the landscape.
