Description
One of many conversions of the classic game Mastermind for the Commodore PET. The player has to guess a code of numbers selected by the computer. Players can determine for themselves both the amount of eligible numbers and the length of the code. There is no limit to the amount of guesses the player makes. It is also possible to give shorter guesses. For example, if the code consists of six letters, guess a code of only three to see if you have the first three right. Or even guess for longer codes to see if certain numbers are in the code.
After each guess the player is shown the "blacks" and "whites", respectively correct numbers in the right position and correct numbers in the wrong position. When the player has guessed the correct code, he or she is shown the total number of guesses it took and is asked to continue a new game with the set rules or redefine the rules.
