Description

Istiden is based on a Swedish TV series for children called "Världens minsta lillasyster". It tells the story of what happened after the end of the series. A group of children led by the somewhat older Litea finds themselves in a mysterious valley after their boat went down a great water fall. Their boat is badly damaged and now they have to go out and look for parts so they can repair the boat and go home again.

The player controls Litea from a isometric top down perspective with the use of a point and click interface. Boat parts needs to be searched for in snow drifts but they can also be found by playing different mini games. The player also needs to find food for the kids to eat and wood to keep them warm. When the paltry is empty or the fire has burned out the game is over and the player has to start over. The game features six mini games. These involve fishing by pushing animals into an ice hole, paddling an ice floe, teaching baby eagles to fly, skiing, tango dancing and making a stone bridge playing music.
