Pinewood Derby

A simulation of the Boy Scout's Pinewood Derby race, in which small wooden cars are raced down a slope. This game focuses on building and customizing the car, and less on the actual race. In fact, the player has no control over the actual race. Customizations include changing the shape of the car, sanding and polishing the wheels, adding accessories and weight, and finally painting and adding decals.

Once your car is ready to race, you can either do a quick race (with no opponents), a custom race (with 0-3 opponents, along with customizable gravity and air pressure), or a tournament. The tournament consists of 25 races or increasing difficulty. Winning these races unlocks opponents for the custom race, and parts for your car.
