WipEout 3

WipEout 3 takes the extreme, futuristic arcade-racing experience of the previous WipEout games and pushes every aspect to the limit. Three new teams are added to the five from WipEout 2097, competing on eight new circuits, each set in a different, highly detailed futuristic city. This, the ultimate arcade racing game, has been designed to be as accessible to first time gamers as it is to those already initiated in the WipEout experience.

The graphics have been pushed to new heights, with hi-res mode implemented throughout the game, while musical director Sasha gives the tunes a smooth, progressive mix. Sasha is producing exclusive new material for the game, as well as calling in some of his international superstar friends to help out.

WipEout 3 features seven brand new weapons to add to the best ones from Wipeout 2097, which you can use to fight three new teams, all with the latest craft design. Choose from New Tournament Mode, Challenge Mode or the gruelling Death Match Mode. Challenge your friends in horizontal or vertical split screen modes for two-player games. Dual Shock compatibility is used extensively to enhance the extreme experience in PlayStation's archetypal hardcore racer.
