The Good
I have always liked the character animations and the soundtrack for SF2. When I bought SNES version, maybe seven or eight years ago, I was kind of disappointed (and ignorant, not knowing the SNES wasn't powerful enough to produce an exact translation) in the sound and graphics. Although the gameplay was great, several animations were missing, the Sho-Ryu-Ken sounded too high pitched, and the background music had a generic sound to it. But this version for the PSX is a perfect match in graphics and sound quality.

The Bottom Line
If you loved the early SF2 arcade games(World Warrior, Champion Edition, and Turbo Hyper Fighting) you will love this collection as well. Street Fighter Collection 2 for Play Station is equal to the arcade in graphics, sound, and gameplay.
