Hauntings of Mystery Manor

Hauntings of Mystery Manor is an independent point-and-click adventure game with a "ghostly" theme.

You return to your family home after an absence of 15 years to find that almost every room is haunted by a troubled ghost. Listen to the ghosts to learn how to free them from their current state. Some of the spirits need to be "un-murdered" while others desire a special prized possession or objects.

There are about 20 total locations to explore in the mansion, gardens and cemetery. The Manor is elaborately decorated with rich furnishings and consists of two floors with six rooms per floor. Some rooms lead to "secret" areas deeper inside the house. There are also two mini-games: a tile matching puzzle game and a poker game.

Clicking on a door opens it and what you find inside are still screens with hot spots containing objects or information. Objects found are added to an inventory which is accessed from the menu bar. Some items can be combined in inventory. There are sound effects and different music for each scene. All conversations are displayed in text form without voices. Gameplay is from a first-person perspective.
