It was during a one hundred year period spanning the 20th and 21st centuries that the TimeSplitters attentions were drawn to Earth, in particular a selection of individuals who, unbeknownst to each other, had one aspect in common. It was their love for adventure and the setting of their own personal challenges that caused the TimeSplitters to set a course for this planet.

The TimeSplitters were an ageless and evil race who lived outside of space and time, which had always controlled the course of human history for their own ends. Hatred, fear, greed, malice and war were, and are, all products of the TimeSplitters malignant agenda, and now they've decided to pay Earth a visit in person! Will the collection of adventurers be able to unite and confront the largest threat to humankind in history?
