Your Electronic Arms
Description
Inspired by a line from performance artist Laurie Anderson's 1981 song O Superman, this game presents a minimalist challenge intentionally analogous to the portable LCD games of yore; operating a central turret on the ground, the player must toggle between four positions (to all appearances shifting the world and remaining stock-still), only three of which are ever visible at the same time, to shoot up at descending Space Invaders.
As play progresses the Invaders will begin dodging the player's bullets. Unlike their Space Invaders antecedents, these enemies have no firepower and the player can fire multiple shots simultaneously. When an Invader succeeds in descending to the level of the turret, the game ends.

Trivia
The game's themes of military defense against invading forces echo sentiments in the lyrics of the song its name samples, the final portion of which reads:
*So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.
So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.In your automatic arms. Your electronic arms.
In your arms.
So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.
Your petrochemical arms. Your military arms.
In your electronic arms.*
