Players must decide whether Jeremy was a victim of suicide or something more sinister. Around every corner is hideous, hidden monsters that come at you when you least expect them and they become life-like with cinematic zooms, pans, close-ups and scaling.

Despite a paralyzing sense of personal danger, your quest for truth drives you to investigate the old house. But, you didn't know that by entering Derceto, you'd be plunged into the daily nightmare that was Jeremy Hartwood's life. You weren't prepared for the torturous howls that resound from deep within its halls. You didn't foresee the shadowy corridors that seemingly have no end. At the time, Jeremy Hartwood's suicide caused a flurry of headlines but little surprise. After all, the place of death was Derceto, the legendary Louisiana mansion where an evil power was rumored to dwell. So the case was quickly dealt with by the police and soon forgotten by the public. Forgotten, that is, by all but the local antique dealer who hired you to enter Derceto and make a list of all the valuables within.

Against your better judgement, you agreed to seek out the mansion's precious antiques -- in particular, the mysterious, old piano in the loft. But, you didn't know that, by entering Derceto, you would be plunged into the daily nightmare that was Jeremy's like. You weren't prepared for the tortuous howls that resounded from deep within its halls. You didn't foresee the shadowy corridors that seemingly had no end.
