Mars Miner
Description official description
Mars Miner is a Bomberman remake. The protagonist is an astronaut stranded on Mars after the ship's collision with a meteor, fighting the bug creatures of the planet to find the way out. This character can be controlled by keyboard keys or mouse.
The gameplay mechanics are the same as in the original: place and detonate time bombs that clear paths and destroy enemies, carefully avoiding being caught in the blast. An energy meter with three bars sits at the bottom-right of the screen. It decreases each time the character touches enemies or is hit by a long-range spitting attack, gets burned by ongoing explosions or walks over hazardous environments. Medical stations and health bonuses replenish the lost energy.
Walls and rocks sometimes reveal power-ups when exploded. As these are collected a respective icon appears on the right side of the screen. A bomb with a plus sign increases the number of bombs that can be deployed each time. A curved arrow allows the astronaut to push the bomb after being placed on the ground.
The game has two modes. In story mode, the main objective is to reach the exit to the next level. In survival mode, the objective is to slain the largest number of enemies possible.
