Prime Time
- Prime Time (1988 on DOS, Atari ST, Amiga)
Description
Prime Time is a budget, management simulation game, in which the player assumes the role of manager at a TV station.
The player must improve upon the available shows, by buying new scripts, casting the actors, and producing movies, series, and other shows, to catching the largest number of viewers possible. While doing so, the player has to deal with issues like union strikes, poor finances, low ratings, competing TV stations, etc.
As the game is set in a living city, a number of events may occur on a daily basis. Earthquakes, robberies, sports events, concerts, etc. All these things allow for massive TV reporting and keep life in the city of Prime Time in perpetual motion.
