Solution
The game is infamous for not having any sort of ending screen, ending sequence, or any indication that you've completed it. The goal of the game is to find clues necessary to figure out the "Ultimate Solution", a secret two-word phrase; originally, the game was designed as a competition, and the player could win a prize if they sent the proper solution to the authors. The developers came up with the perfect way to prevent players from hacking into the ending screen: they simply didn't put one in. As a side-effect, the game gained the reputation of being very hard or impossible to complete, since no one ever reached the ending.
