Army Men: Air Tactics

The Good
I think the only thing I really liked about this game was the idea. If you remember back to the 'Strike' series by EA, you can tell where 3DO were trying to take this. There are a few elements that are worthy of a mention, including the multiplayer mode which adds a little more to the game as a whole. At least it isn't the same Army Men type of game, so I give them credit for trying something different.

The Bad
But even with a new slant on the series, nothing really has changed. It's far from the Strike series, with rough graphics and gameplay that far from lasts as long as it should (although that all depends on your skill level, I suppose). And since most of the major elements don't work, then multiplayer fails eventually after the first go.

The Bottom Line
Army Men fans will love it, the rest won't. Still, with a little work, this could be a decent series, at least better then the original Army Men style.
