The Good
These games really introduced me to adventure games on the PC. The bundle had something for every gaming tastebud. Prophecy for the roleplaying element; Tongue of the Fatman for bizzare fighting; DeathTrack (the obvious inspiration for Carmageddon) for action and racing; Mines of Titan for straight adventure; and Circuit's Edge for an all-around fantastic game. Circuit's Edge introduced me to cyberpunk science fiction novels, which I now write. Interestingly enough, the game was created by Westwood Associates, now Westwood Studios, and directed by none other than Brent Sperry.

I would recommend this game to any gamer of any genre.

The Bad
Since I wasn't much into gaming before 1990, I really don't have a recollection of what was available at the time. And with the other Infocom/Activision compilations that Activision put out, they pretty much covered all of the decent text adventures that the two companies had from 1989-1992. There was actually nothing that I disliked about the package. It had it all.

The Bottom Line
An interesting compilation of some great early nineties games.
