Dribbling (1992 on Amiga, Commodore 64)
Description
Dribbling is a fixed-screen top-down soccer game for two players only. Each player controls a soccer team consisting of seven players. The three forwards and the three defenders are in a fixed formation relative to each other, and are controlled separately. The goal-keeper movement is semi-automatic. The aim is to take possession of the ball with one of your players and move it down the field towards the goal defended by your opponent. Once you get the ball, you have 3.5 seconds when you can dribble the ball around the field before you have to pass it. Passing can be directed either horizontally, or in the direction the player was last travelling. The game lasts for a fixed time of two minutes, in which time you must try to get more goals than your opponent.
