Andromeda SS

Andromeda SS is a fixed-screen shooter for one or two players. The player controls a spaceship at the bottom of the screen and fires up towards the enemies. The enemies fly in different formations based on the current round, but generally fly in a diamond formation. The enemies also fire back towards the player. Sometimes an enemy will descend towards the player in a kamikaze attack. In the middle of some formations flies a mystery enemy which cloaks in and out of view. When all enemies on the screen are killed, the next formation appears. The faster a formation is wiped out, the more bonus points are earned. When playing with two players the players play in hot-seat and compete for the highest score.
