Moby ID: 227865

Description

Wally wo Sagase! Ehon no Kuni no features the character Waldo (known generally as Wally internationally) from the Where's Waldo franchise. The plot involves Waldo and his Waldo Watchers getting together to celebrate Wenda's birthday along with Where's Waldo author Martin Handford. However, Waldo's nemesis Odlaw sneaks in and swipes Waldo's magic walking stick and then uses it to scatter 99 Waldo Watchers all over the land. Now its up to Waldo and a lone Waldo Watcher to find the other Waldo Watchers and also find a present for Wenda.

The game is set up where the player will be shown a picture of something (a person or object) and then will take control of a Waldo Watcher and guides him through areas that will contain the object somewhere. The player will be given a limited number of chances to select the correct object that matches what is shown in the picture. The player will be able to walk around the lands of civilizations such as ones with prehistoric cavemen, ancient Egyptians, Vikings. and Medieval times.

The game has some light puzzle solving as some of the Waldo Watchers are locked away and the player will need to figure out a way to rescue them by doing things like stepping on buttons to lower walls or by using teleporters in the correct order.
