The Kingdom of Klein
Description
The Kingdom of Klein is a text adventure for the BBC Micro and Electron.
An aura of doom surrounds the Klein Kingdom. The Magic Bottle was removed from its pedestal in the King's Palace and stolen by the Wicked Witch of the Mountain. She swore she would place a hideous curse on anyone foolish enough to try to recover it, and unfortunately the player has been elected to be that fool.
The player searches the land for the five magic solids: the octahedron, dodecahedron, torus, cube, and tetrahedron. The goal is ultimately to recover the Klein bottle and return it to its resting place. Along the way the player encounters giants, dangerous heights, zombies, lizards, and other dangers. All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature.
