Arcturus

Arcturus is a game in the vein of Marble Madness. You must guide a gyroscope through 104 worlds and collect diamonds as you go.

But it will is not just plain wandering around. You encounter loads of tasks for you to perform. These tasks are puzzles of sorts which you need to think about before tackling and in quite a few cases there may only be one way to get through. All the diamonds must be collected from the levels to get to the next and much harder level. Surface conditions must be taken into account too, each affecting the way the gyro moves and handles. There is ice, which can reduce or take away your grip altogether, and sand, which has the opposite effect. You may find al around the play area some bonuses, power-ups and even enemies. Every 4 levels you will receive a password which will help you to continue your journey from the point where you left the game.

In the main menu you may select options by use of a keyboard, a mouse or a joystick. In here you may select Start Game - if you do not know the password you will start from the beginning by pressing Return (Enter) key, Define Keys, TOP-Ten - the best 10 scores, Quit Game.

Defined keys are:

• CTRL+F1 - switch map off
• CTRL+F2 - map zoom 1
• CTRL+F3 - map zoom 2
• CTRL+P - pasue (press fire to resume)
• ESC - restart level
• CTRL+ESC - back to main menu

Information displayed in the game screen are a map in the left bottom corner, number or remaining diamonds in the right bottom corner and number of your lives next to it.
