STARSHIP TROOPERS⢠GAME MUSIC TO PREMIER AT 2004 "GC" CONCERT
**RICHARD JACQUES COMPOSES ORIGINAL SCORE FOR NEW ACTION VIDEOGAME BASED ON COLUMBIA PICTURES' BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE
London, July 6th, 2004** â Top Composer Richard Jacques (www.richardjacques.com) today announced his original score for Empire Interactive's STARSHIP TROOPERS⢠(www.starshiptroopers-game.com) will debut as a live symphony suite at this year's GC-Games Convention concert. Members of the Prague Symphony Orchestra will perform the music on August 18th at Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Germany.
"Richard's music is anthemic and inspiring and was so well received at the first GC concert that we decided to feature more of his work again this year," said event producer Thomas Boecker. In 2003, Richard Jacques' music for Headhunter and Headhunter: Redemption was played to a sold-out Gewandhaus concert hall during the first game music symphony outside of Japan.
Ben Wilkins, producer for Empire Interactive, said; "Richard Jacques was the natural choice for STARSHIP TROOPERSâ˘. His 10 years industry experience and past credits, especially in creating cinematic scores, made it abundantly clear that he was the right man for the job. We are delighted to be working with Richard."
