Description
Liberator is a vertically scrolling shoot'em up. The player controls his T.H.G.C. (Tactical Hover Gun Craft, basically a levitating hot tub) through enemy controlled territory in search of imprisoned Federation members.
Hostile aliens will descend on your from all directions. You have up to 99 bombs to use in your defense, and there's ammo boxes to pick up that will replace your spent ammo. Upon reaching an imprisoned Federation member you need to fire at the cell gate to release the prisoner. You will then be taken into space where you need to dodge Time Space Gates until you see a flashing gate, fly into is and you will be taken to the next leve. Should you fail to hit the right gate you will be returned to the same level.
