Power Meter
The meter at the bottom of the screen is used to determine the strength of your shot.
Putting
When it's time to putt, the game switches to an overhead perspective. The arrows on the green let you know which if the land is uneven.
Custom Characters
When the game begins, players can choose to play either as a male or female character. You start out with mediocre stats, but your skills improve as you earn experience points.
