FireFly Studios' Stronghold: Definitive Edition is a remastered version of the 2001 building/RTS game Stronghold, along with its Deluxe and HD edition content. The changes include:
- remastered and redone visuals, with existing widescreen support extended to 4K Ultra HD, as well as a zooming function
- a new 14-mission singleplayer campaign involving The Rat and The Snake, including original voice actors
- a Castle Trail mode with 10 connected missions, like the Crusader Trail from Stronghold Crusader
- an optional new control scheme
- added individual rally points for different unit types
- remastered soundtrack
- Steamworks-based multiplayer and Steam Workshop support

Scribe
The game gives players the option to choose the face of the scribe in the bottom right of the interface, between a recreated one and an upscaled version of the original. While the file of the original model was found, but the plugin used to create it could not be set up by the developers due to compatibility issues.
