Description

3-D Voicechess is a classic chess game with a diagonal-down perspective what gives an impression of 3D view. It is possible to rotate the chessboard by 90° with each press of O key. You may change the colour of your pieces by V key. The voice synthesizer announces all the movements you make. If you would like to play silently, a short chime will alert you that the computer has made a move and now it is your turn to play.

The program has two options: normal play and analysis. In normal play 7 levels are offered, from beginner, when computer responds very fast, to the "correspondence game" level where computer's respond may take up even to 24 hours. Among the different options of the game there are also possibilities to change sides or levels during the game or to stop the game to reposition the pieces. Additionally, by pressing the R key, the computer recommands you the best moves if it were in your place. The program accepts castling and in passing (en passant) capture.
