Interactive Rugby World DVD Quiz Game

This is a five round quiz about rugby for one or two teams/players. Players can choose between two types of game, the Half Season game and the Full Season game, both have five rounds but there are twice as many questions in the Full Season Game. At the end of the game the player with the highest score wins, in the event of a tie there is a sudden death round where the first player to make a mistake loses.

During the game there may be 'pop-ups' which could be a bonus that doubles the points scored in a round or a penalty which loses one point for every incorrect answer in a round.

• Round One: Following a short video clip there are two multiple choice questions
• Round Two: A video clip is paused part way through and players must say what happened next. This is not a multiple choice question and there's nothing sophisticated here, the player literally says what they think happens next then continues the quiz where the correct answer is revealed. The game then asks 'Did you answer correctly?' and expects an honest answer.
• Round Three: A speed round - players are shown a question and four images which must be ranked in the correct order.
• Round Four: The 'Name The Player' round. A blurred picture is revealed one tile at a time, answering quickly scores more points. When the player thinks they have the answer the click on the on-screen 'Reveal' button and are told the answer at which point hey are again asked 'Did you answer correctly?'
• Round Five: Three multiple choice questions to be answered against the clock.

The quiz is hosted by John Inverdale, an ex-rugby player and veteran sports broadcaster, who introduces the quiz as a whole and explains each round. It was filmed at John's old club Esher Rugby Football Club and there's an interview with him in the DVD Extras section.
