Telly Addicts: Multi-Player Family Edition
Description
Telly Addicts: Multi-Player Family Edition is a family game based on the UK TV show 'Telly Addicts'. It is a quiz about television shows for one or two players/teams and there is an option to select whether each team is playing as an adult or as a child.
The game is played over seven rounds and during the game each team will receive a bonus question, there's no need for pen and paper to keep score as the game does this automatically and shows the score at the end of each round.
Round One: Screen Test. In this round there are six TV screens shown and behind each is a picture or a video clip and a related question. Players take it in turns to select a screen and answer a question, they get one point for each correct answer.
Round Two: TV Ties. This time each player gets just one set of themed questions. The first question is a picture question showing characters from a show and the player must name the character that is missing. Following this are two related questions, each correct answer scores one point giving a maximum of three points for the round.
Round Three: Classic Clips. Again there's just one set of questions per player with each correct answer scoring one point giving a maximum of three points for the round. After watching a TV clip the players are asked related questions, one is observational, one is about the show and one is about the character.
Round Four: Odd One Out. Slightly different format to this round but still up to three points at stake. Players are shown pictures of four characters from a show, say Del Boy; Rodney; Uncle Albert and Trigger from 'Only Fools and Horses', and they are given a clue to identify the odd one out. If the player answers correctly straight away they score three points, if they answer incorrectly they score zero. However there are two additional clues on offer. Taking each clue reduces the number of points scored for a correct answer by one point.
Round Five: Theme Tunes. Simply identify a theme tune from a sound clip.
Round Six: Guess The Show. Guess The Show. Identify the TV show from the clues given by members of the public. As with Round Four there are additional clues available but they reduce the number of points for a correct answer
Round Seven: Spotlight. Each player is asked three questions in succession and is given only ten seconds to answer each one.
At the end of the game Noel announces the winner. If there is a tie then the game will ask a tiebreaker question.
