Description
Pontoon is a 1-player card game for the VIC-20.
Played against the computer, each player draws cards trying to be the closest to 21 without going over. The player always goes first, and starts with 2 cards. Each turn, the player can choose to stick or twist. Stick stays at the current card count, and twist draws an additional card. If the player reaches 21 or plays 5 cards they automatically win. Face cards are worth 10, and an ace can be 1 or 11. After the player sticks, the computer's first 2 cards are revealed, and the computer draws cards until they surpass the player, go over 21, or play a total of 5 cards. The game progresses until a player wins 10 hands.
