Better waterproof your boots and have an extra helping of crawfish tonight, Daddy-O! Your best girl's just been kidnapped by Gordon the Gangster King, the most vile Cajun cutthroat ever to slither into New Orleans. Now, it's up to you save her. But don't forget that old Gordo's got a few swamp surprises waiting for you in the shadows.

So keep that picture of Annabelle close to your heart, then punch, kick and fling fireballs at all those who dare cross your path. Make it to the fifth stage and you'll tangle with the Gangster King to decide if Annabelle goes free or winds up in the belly of some lucky gator (burp).

TO BEGIN YOUR DESCENT INTO THE BAYOU.

Remove plastic cover on game screen before beginning your rescue mission. Press the ON/START Switch and the high score will appear. Press the ON/START Switch again to begin the game. There are five stages in this game. To save Annabelle, Billy has to survive all five stages and then defeat Gordon. To move from one stage to the next, keep Billy moving to the right and destroy all enemies encountered along the way.

At the start of the game, Billy gets 40 life points. Each time he's hit, his life points decrease. If Billy's life points dwindle to zero, the game is over and Annabelle is history. After each stage is completed, Billy is awarded 20 life points.

Press the Control Pad Left to make Billy turn left. Press Right and he'll move to the right. Press the Control Pad Up and Billy will jump. Press the Control Pad Down after he's jumped and Billy will land on both feet.

Remember: Billy cannot counter enemy attacks. He must jump to avoid them and then launch his own attack.

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HURT THE ONES YOU DON'T LOVE.

Press the Attack Button Up to make Billy throw a punch. Press the Attack Button Down and he'll land a knee-bustin' kick. Tap the Left side of the Control Pad once to make Billy attack to the left. When Billy is facing right, press Down on the Control Pad until his left hand comes down to his waist. Then take your finger off the Control Pad and a fireball will be thrown. As long as a fireball is in the air, Billy is immune to enemy attacks.

HOW TO SCORE POINTS WITH ANNABELLE.

Each time an enemy is defeated, you'll add points to your score which will be shown after the end of each stage.

Venomous Snake 10 points

The Fat Man 150 points

Hurricane Hank the Bone Crusher 200 points

Billy-eating Alligator 500 points

Gordon 1000 points

Each enemy starts out with a certain number of points. Each time Billy attacks successfully, enemy points diminish. A fireball will subtract 5 points, a punch will take 2, a kick 2, and a jumping kick 1.

NOTE: The game turns itself off if not in use for a period of 60 seconds. After you change the batteries, press the ALL CLEAR key to clear the screen, with a ball-point pen.
