Naughty

Naughty is an arcade platform game which puts you in control of a mouse who has to scramble about a tree, visiting all of the nests to destroy eggs before they hatch. A timer counts down to hatching time, and points are earned for each egg depending on the time left. Points can also be earned by collecting bonus fruit that occasionally appear.

To prevent the game from being too easy, there are several birds wandering about the tree that will cause you to lose a life if they catch you. These can either be avoided, or if you get hold of one of the power-pellets, you become invulnerable and can turn the table on your pursuers for a limited time period. These pellets are often found under sections of branch which flex up and down occasionally, restricting movement over them when they are in the "up" position. There are also some ladders which become impassable after using them once.

After all of the nests in each tree have been destroyed, the next level starts. Later levels have more patrolling birds, but the level layouts are almost identical with only minor differences such as which ladders can be used only once. There seem to have been a couple of releases of the game with more substantial differences in maze layout.
