Description

Challenger is an arcade game for one or two players, which puts you in charge of a spacecraft flying up the screen over two vertically scrolling backgrounds that move at different speeds. Each player controls a ship and the speed of one of the backgrounds. Hitting any of the structures on either of the backgrounds will cause energy from your shields to become depleted, and when they are completely drained you lose the game. The aim is then to keep your shields intact for as long as possible and, in two player mode, deplete your opponent's shield.
